It is supplied from qualified domestic and international mills, then received, inspected, tested, and released under our ISO 9001:2015 system in Hillsboro, Texas, with a full mill test report. ## What Alloy 600 is Alloy 600 is a nickel-chromium-iron solid-solution alloy. The high nickel content gives it immunity to chloride stress corrosion cracking and excellent resistance to caustic and to high-purity water. The chromium provides oxidation resistance at temperatures well beyond the stainless steels.
