What SA213 T11 is
T11 is a 1-1/4Cr-1/2Mo-Si ferritic alloy steel. The silicon addition gives it slightly better oxidation resistance than T12; otherwise the two are close cousins. T11 delivers reliable creep strength to about 1050 degrees F metal temperature and welds with standard low-alloy procedures.

Where it is used
- Superheater and reheater tube in industrial and utility boilers.
- HRSG high-pressure evaporator and superheater modules.
- Refinery convection section tubes.
- High-temperature heat exchangers in chemical plants.
T11, T12, or T22
T11 and T12 overlap almost completely; the choice usually follows the OEM drawing. Above about 1050 degrees F or where hydrogen attack is a factor, T22 with its 2-1/4% chromium is the next step. We supply all three.
OD, minimum wall, length, quantity, heat treatment condition, whether bends are required, and any ASME Section I supplementary requirements or utility specification.
