What we supply for shipboard seawater systems
- Copper-nickel pipe in C70600 (90/10) and C71500 (70/30) to MIL-T-16420K, MIL-T-24107, ASTM B466, and ASTM B467. Sizes 1/4" through 2" NPS manufactured in Hillsboro; 2-1/2" through 24" distributed from audited, qualified mills and certified through our own lab.
- Copper-nickel tube for condensers, coolers, and heat exchangers to MIL-T-15005F and ASME SB-111, including U-bends.
- Sleeves and couplings manufactured in-house for brazed and welded joints.
- Butt-weld fittings: elbows, tees, reducers, caps, and stub ends in 90/10 and 70/30 per MIL-F-1183 and ASME B16.9 patterns. See the fittings catalog.

Why shipyards and the Navy buy from Ameritube
Processed and documented in the USA. DFARS 252.225-7009 and Buy American clauses ask where the alloy was melted as well as where it was finished. Ameritube states both on every certification: shell origin, and the pilgering, drawing, annealing, and testing done in Hillsboro, Texas. C12200 is melted and cast in-house today; copper-nickel melting is planned.
We know the specifications. MIL-T-16420K has five pressure classes, its own hydrostatic and ultrasonic requirements, and marking and packaging rules that trip up commercial mills. We have shipped to it for fifteen years, including complete ship sets to a foreign navy under the FMF program with valves, fittings, and flanges included.
One package, one certification set. Pipe, fittings, flanges, and tube on one order, with matching MTRs, certificates of conformance, and DFARS statements. Fewer suppliers for the buyer to manage and fewer gaps for the inspector to find.
Testing in-house. Hydrostatic, ultrasonic, eddy current, and air-under-water testing on site, with Level II certified NDT operators.
